The 2015 USATF Outdoor Track and Field Championships are underway and have returned to Oregon’s Hayward Field. This year it will feature 39 athletes, who were born in Missouri, competed at Missouri High Schools, or competed at Missouri colleges, to compete in the junior or open events.

As well as serving as the annual national championship meet, the USATF Outdoor Championships will serve as the qualifying meet for several international meets. The open or senior events will determine the USA team for the bi-annual World Championships, in Beijing, China this year, August 22-30. The top three finishers in each event will qualify for the meet while 2013 World Championship meet individual event winners are given an automatic berth, meaning a country could have four entrants in the meet. The top two finishers in the junior events a few extras for the relay pools, will qualify for the Pan American Junior Athletic Championships in Edmonton, Canada, July 31-August 2.
