The 2015 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships could be the most successful for Missourians ever. With 21 qualifiers and four number-one seeds, the chances are excellent that many top-eight All-American trophies could be won by athletes that are Missouri natives, competed at Missouri high schools, or compete at Missouri colleges.
Not only do three Missourians carry number-one seeds, but they have posted NCAA All-Time Top-10 Indoor marks. Emily Sisson leads the way with her 15:12 Collegiate Indoor Record, while her 8:52 3k is fourth All-Time. Colleen Quigley broke Florida State and ACC Records when she posted the 5th All-Time clocking of 4:29.67 last month.
Mizzou redshirt senior and Ottawa, Ks native Kearsten Peoples moved to seventh all-time in the Weight Throw. She’ll also compete in the Shot Put.
